- On the occasion of World Book & Copyright Day, the Union HRD Minister Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal (age 60 years) has launched the #MyBookMyFriend campaign. He said that books are a person's best friend. Besides, books inspire everyone and provide a new way of thinking.

This campaign will run for 7 days. Along with this, the Union Minister has also appealed to prominent personalities from various parts of India to join this campaign so that it can inspire all the countrymen.
He also urged all the students to read a book and share with him about the book which they are reading at the moment using #MyBookMyFriend on social media.
