National Panchayati Raj Day celebrated Each year on 24th April

Each year on 24th April the National Panchayati Raj Day is celebrated across the country. On this day, the 14th Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi addressed village Panchayats to mark the National Panchayati Raj Day.
The first National Panchayati Raj Day was declared by then PM Shri Manmohan Singh on 24th April 2010.
