- An India Alliance fellow Dr. Tavpritesh Sethi at IIIT New Delhi and his team have developed 'WashKaro' mobile app. Its objective is to provide the right information to the right people in the right format at the right time.
- The WashKaro Andriod app has been developed by professor Ponnurangam Kumaraguru and Dr. Tavpritesh Sethi of the Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT-Delhi) along with his students.
- The WashKaro App was presented to the World Health Organization (WHO) in Geneva, Switzerland on 8th April 2020 via video conferencing.
