- Union Agriculture Ministry Shri Narendra Singh Tomar (age 62 years) has launched the 'Kisan Rath' mobile application to facilitate transportation of food grains and perishables during the lockdown.
- Kisan Rath Mobile App,
- The Kisan Rath mobile app is designed & developed by the National Informatics Center (NIC), with the aim to facilitate farmers and traders in searching for transport vehicles for the movement of Agriculture and Horticulture produce.
- This Kisan Rath App will greatly facilitate farmers, FPOs, and Cooperatives in the country.
