Mascot for 2022 Asian Para Games unveiled


  • Feifei 'Divine Bird' will be the Mascot for the 2022 Asian Para Games. And, it will be held at Hangzhou, Zhejiang (China) from 9th to 15th October 2022. Hangzhou will be the 2nd Chinese city to host the Asian Para Games, after Guangzhou (2010).
  • About Feifei Mascot,
    - The design of Feifei was inspired by the motif of the 'Divine Bird' that brings bliss and is a messenger of joy and cultural distinction. It is the fusion of Hangzhou's heritage and its drive for technological innovation.
    - The first 'Fei' means the birds flying, implying inclusiveness, respect, and fraternity of human society. And the second 'Fei' represents the mental tenacity of the athletes with disabilities pursuing dreams and reaching beyond themselves.
  • 2022 Asian Para Games,
    The 2022 Asian Para Games is also named as the 4th Asian Para Games, which will be held for Asian athletes with a disability.
  • Points to Remember,
    1. 2022 Asian Para Games Emblem:- The emblem for the 4th Asian Para Games is a wheelchair athlete striving forward on a running track with 10 semi-arc lines, which was unveiled on 2nd March 2020.
    2. Motto for 2022 Asian Para Games:- The motto for the 5th Asian Para Games is 'Hearts Meet, Dreams Shine', which was also unveiled on 2nd March 2022.
