Abdelouahab Aissaoui won International Prize for Arabic Fiction for his novel 'The Spartan Court'


  • Abdelouahab Aissaoui won the 13th edition of the International Prize for Arabic Fiction (IPAF) for his novel 'The Spartan Court'. With this, he has become the first Algerian citizen to win this prize. He won 50,000 US dollars (£39,950) prize money, as well as funding for the English translation of the novel.
