- The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has given the additional charge of Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) to BSNL Chairman-cum-MD Shri Pravin Kumar Purwar. It is the 3rd time P. K. Purwar has been given charge of the Chairman-cum-MD of MTNL in the last 6-years.
- As a Chairman-cum-MD of BSNL, Pravin Kumar Purwar had joined the company in July 2019.
