  • Jim Corbett National Park in Uttarakhand has built a Quarantine facility for Animals. And, becomes India's first national park to provide this facility. This inititative is taken after the reports of a Malayan tiger being tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19) infection in America.
  • Jim Corbett National Park,
    - Jim Corbett National Park was established in 1936 as Hailey National Park to protect the endangered Bengal tiger. It is the oldest national park in India, which is located in the Nainital & Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand.
    - It named after Jim Corbett, who was a well-known hunter, and naturalist.
    - Corbett National Park spread over 520.8 km2 (201.1 sq mi), which including areas of hills, riverine belts, marshy depressions, grasslands, and a large lake.
