Google launched 'Nearby Spot' on its Google Pay platform


  • Tech giant Google has launched 'Nearby Spot' on its Google pay platform. The objective of this is to help its users to find stores selling essential goods in their town, during the lockdown.
  • Google has already launched the 'Nearby Spot' in Bengaluru, Karnataka. And, after that, it will be launched in Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, and Delhi.
  • Besides, it will also help users to donate in the PM-CARES Fund and towards the procurement of protective equipment for medical workers and relief for lockdown-impacted daily wagers.

    - Google Pay is a digital wallet platform and online payment system, which is developed by Google on 11th September 2015. It enables users to make payments with Android phones, Apple, etc.
