- Each year on 14th April Ambedkar Jayanti is celebrated across the nation to commemorate the birth anniversary of Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar.
- On 14th April 1891, He was born in Mhow cantonment board in Madhya Pradesh. He was the 14th and last child of Ramji Maloji Sakpal, who was Subedar in the Indian Army.
- After independence, B. R. Ambedkar was the first Law Minister of India. And, he was also the major architect of the Constitution of India.

ii) In 1990, he had received the Bharat Ratna award.
