Reserve Bank of India starts #Pay Digital Stay Safe Campaign on Twitter


  • The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has started a Twitter campaign #Pay Digital Stay Safe. The main objective of this campaign is to urge customers to adopt digital modes of payment such as NEFT, IMPS, UPI, and BBPS.
  • Highlights,
    - Through this campaign, the Reserve Bank emphasized on transacting digitally, because it gives the benefits of making payments anytime and anywhere.
    - The face of the RBI Twitter Campaign is Lengendary filmstar Shri Amitabh Bachchan.

    The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is the Central Bank of India that was established on 1st April 1935 in Kolkata, West Bengal. Its headquarter is in Mumbai, Maharashtra. It regulator the entire Banking services and plays an important part in the development strategy of India.
