- Noted English comedian Tim Brooke Taylor passed away due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) on 12th April 2020. He was 79 years. Tim Brooke was best known for his work on BBC Radio with I'm Sorry, I'll Read That Again (1964–1973).
- He was also offered and accepted the honor of Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 2011 Birthday Honours for services to light entertainment.
