  • Former English footballer and Chelsea goalkeeper Peter Bonetti died on 12th April 2020 due to a long illness. He was 78 years. He was best known by the nickname 'The Cat' for his outstanding reflexes and agility.
  • Besides, He was one of the goalkeepers, just like Gordon West of Everton, who specialized in a one-armed throw which could achieve a similar distance to a dropkick.
  • During his football career, He kept 208 clean sheets in 729 appearances for the London club over two spells from 1960-75 and 1977-79.
