- The Health Insurance Company IFFCO-Tokio has elected Anamika Roy Rashtrawar as its new Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). She will replace Warendra Sinha, who was leading the company as MD & CEO for the last 3-years.
- Due to this appointment, Anamika Roy has becomes the first woman MD & CEO of a general insurance company in India. She has joined the Company as a Whole-time Director in June 2018.
- About IFFCO-Tokio,
- IFFCO-Tokio is a joint venture between the Indian Farmers Fertiliser Co-operative Limited (IFFCO) and Tokio Marine Group, which was established in 2000. In this partnership of IFFCO-Tokio, IFFCO holds 51% and Tokio Marine Group holds 49% shares.
