Chhattisgarh Police developed 'Rakhsa-Sarv' mobile app to track the quarantined people


  • The Chhattisgarh Police of Janjgir-Champa district has developed the 'Rakhsa-Sarv' mobile application. Its objective is to track the quarantined people through Google Maps. The app is created by the Noida-based software company Mobcoder.
  • Highlights,
    - It will contain details of the home-quarantined people are being fed in the app’s dashboard. The quarantined person will have to upload a selfie in the app every hour which will specify his/her location.
    - Around 6,200 people are kept under home quarantine in the Janjgir-Champa district of Chhattisgarh state.
  • Similarly, Mohali Police in Punjab state has also developed the app named 'COVID Control' to track the home quarantined people to ensure quarantine protocols are being followed properly.
