- The famous actor who worked in Malayalam cinema Sasi Kalinga passed away in a Private hospital of Kozhikode, Kerala. He was 59 years.
- He had started his acting career as a theatre actor and acted in various Malayalam movies including Paleri Manikyam - Oru Pathirakolapathakathinte Katha (2009), Pranchiyettan & the Saint (2010), Indian Rupee (2011), Adaminte Makan Abu (2011) and in Amen (2013).
