The Chhattisgarh Police of Janjgir-Champa district has developed the 'Rakhsa-Sarv' mobile application. Its objective is to track the quarantined people through Google Maps. The app is created by the Noida-based software company Mobcoder.
Highlights, - It will contain details of the home-quarantined people are being fed in the app’s dashboard. The quarantined person will have to upload a selfie in the app every hour which will specify his/her location. - Around 6,200 people are kept under home quarantine in the Janjgir-Champa district of Chhattisgarh state.
Similarly, Mohali Police in Punjab state has also developed the app named 'COVID Control' to track the home quarantined people to ensure quarantine protocols are being followed properly.
