CM Naveen Patnaik gets PETA Hero to Animals Award


  • The 14th Chief Minister of Odisha Shri Naveen Patnaik (age 73 years) has been awarded the 'Hero to Animals Award' by PETA India for allocating funds to feed community animals during the lockdown. Prior to this, Noted actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra has also won this award.
  • CM Naveen Patnaik has approved Rs 54,00,000/- from a relief fund to feed animals of the community. It is the first-of-its-kind initiative undertaken to feed animals that have been conducted in 5-municipal corporations and all 48 municipalities of Odisha state.
