Hack the Crisis-India launched today


  • In another initiative, Union Minister of State Electronics & IT, Communications and HRD Shri Sanjay Dhotre (age 61 years) launched the 'Hack the Crisis - India'. It is an Online Hackathon to find working solutions to overcome Coronavirus (COVID 19) pandemic.
  • It has been organized by 'Hack A Cause - India' and 'FICCI Ladies Organization Pune' and supported by the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India (MEITY).
  • Objective,
    - The main objective of this hackathon is to strengthen the fight against Coronavirus (COVID 19) outbreak. The winning ideas from a few top participating teams, as implementable solutions on the corona crisis, are expected to help India and global citizens.
  • In this hackathon, Around 2000 teams and 15000 participants will be enhancing their working prototypes in a 48-hour hackathon with expert mentoring from India, Estonia, and Finland.
