Naval Dockyard Visakhapatnam developed Portable Multi-feed Oxygen Manifold


  • The Naval Dockyard Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh has developed Portable Multi-feed Oxygen Manifold (MOM). The objective of this design is to supply oxygen to multiple patients at a time.
  • Portable Multi-feed Oxygen Manifold (MOM),
    - It is developed by the Eastern Naval Command personnel.
    - It provides oxygen to 6-patients at the same time with one oxygen bottle.
    - The primary test was conducted at MI Room at Naval Dockyard Visakhapatnam (NDV), followed by rapid trials at the Naval Hospital INHS Kalyani. And, this system is successfully installed within 30 minutes.
