2020 Wimbledon Championships canceled due to COVID-19 outbreak


  • The 2020 Wimbledon Championships have been canceled due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak across the world. It is the second time that the tournament has to cancel, the first time during World War-II.
  • The tournament was due to be played between 29th June and 12th July 2020, and there will be no tennis tournament until at least 13th July throughout the globe.
  • Wimbledon is one of the four Grand Slam and the oldest tennis tournament in the world, the others are Australian Open, the French Open and the US Open.
