In Football, India wins U-18 title of SAFF Championship 2019

In Football, India defeated Bangladesh by 2-1 to won the Under-18 title of SAFF Football Championship 2019 held at Kathmandu, Nepal.
Indian footballer Ninthoinganba Meetei (age 18 years) was declared the Most Valuable Player of the championship. This is India's maiden SAFF U-18 trophy. India remained 2nd in 2015 and 3rd in 2017.
The SAFF Under-18 Championship is a football championship for Male footballers and it is organized by the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF).
