- Malabar 2019- Trilateral Naval Exercise between India, USA, and Japan would be held in Japan from 26th September to 4th October 2019.
- Firstly in 1992 the Malabar Exercise began and includes diverse activities, ranging from fighter combat operations from aircraft carriers through Maritime Interdiction Operations Exercises.
- In this exercise, 2 newly indigenously designed Indian Naval Ships- INS Sahyadri, ASW Corvette INS Kiltan and a Boeing P-8I Neptune aircraft will participate.
