Noted TV anchor Ravish Kumar chosen for Gauri Lankesh Memorial Award

Noted TV anchor Ravish Kumar (age 44 years) chosen as the first recipient of Gauri Lankesh National Award for Journalism in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
The 2019 Gauri Lankesh Memorial Award was given by Indian activist and journalist H. S. Doreswamy (age 101 years).
On this occassion 3 New Books were released;
i) Neera Nade (by Vinaya Okkunda),
ii) Dehali Nota (by D. Umapathy),
iii) Maatige Enu Kadime (translation of Mr. Kumar’s The Free Voice by Harshakumar Kugwe).
