- The International Day of Sign Languages is celebrated every year on 23rd September around the world along with International Week of the Deaf.
- The theme for this year is 'Sign Language Rights for All'. The choice of 23rd September is the same date that the World Federation of the Deaf was established in 1951.
- The 2018 Theme of International Day of Sign Languages (IDSL) is 'With Sign Language, Everyone is Included'.
