Engineers Day celebrated across the nation on 15th September

The Engineers Day is celebrated across the nation on 15th September every year to commemorate the birth anniversary of the greatest Indian Engineer Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvarayya.
Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya was an Indian civil engineer and statesman. During 1912-19, he served as the 19th Diwan of Mysore.
In 1955, he was awarded Bharat Ratna (India's highest honor).
However, Telangana celebrates Engineers day on 11th July every year to commemorate the birth anniversary of Ali Nawaz Jung Bahadur.
