- The President of UAE- Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan honored Navdeep Singh Suri with the First Class Order of Zayed II award.
- He was given the honor in recognition of his efforts during his tenure and his contribution to the development and strengthening of relations between the UAE and India.
- Now, Mr. Suri has been working as India's High Commissioner to UAE. Previously, He served as Indian Ambassador to Egypt with concurrent accreditation to the Arab League (2012–2015).
