- Today, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi launched the Kisan Maan Dhan Yojana at Ranchi, Jharkhand to secure the lives of the farmers.
- Speaking on the occasion, PM Modi said that Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maan Dhan Yojana shall secure the lives of 5 Crore Small and Marginal Farmers.
Under this scheme, farmers between 18 to 40 years will get Rs 3,000 monthly pension after reaching 60.
- PM Narendra Modi also launched another National Pension Scheme for the Small traders and Self-employed.

- Prime Minister digitally launched the beginning of work for 462 Ekalvya Model Residential Schools. These schools will provide quality upper primary, secondary, and senior secondary level education to ST Students in Tribal dominated areas.
