Padma Shri awardee Vijay Kumar Chopra elected as PTI Chairman

Vijay Kumar Chopra (age 87 years) elected as the Chairman of Press Trust of India (PTI), who is the chief executive officer and editor in chief of the Punjab Kesari group.
In 1990, he had received a Padma Shri award (The 4th highest civilian award given by the President).
In another appointment, Vineet Jain appointed as the PTI Vice-Chairman, who is the Managing director and Director of Bennett, Coleman & Company Limited.
Prior to this, Mr. Jain served as the Chairman of PTI in 2010.
