Nuakhai - Harvesting Festival of Odisha state

The festival of Nuakahi (Nua means New, and Khai means Food) celebrated by the people of Western Odisha in India for rice harvesting.
Nuakhai is an agricultural festival observed in Odisha state to welcome the new rice of the season.
On the occasion, People of Odisha offer the newly harvested crop called Nabanna to their respective presiding deities.
