Prithvi Sekhar bags Gold medal at World Deaf Tennis Championships


  • Indian deaf tennis player Prithvi Sekhar (age 26 years) won the Gold medal in the World Deaf Tennis Championships 2019.
  • In finals, He defeated Jaroslav Smedek (Czech Republic) by 6-4, 6-3, the tournament was held at Antalya in Turkey on 19th October 2019.
  • Prithvi Sekhar represented India at the Deaflympics in 2013 and 2017. In the 2017 Summer Deaflympics, He won the Bronze medal in the mixed doubles event with Jafreen Shaik.
