Deepika Padukone and P. V. Sindhu elected as Ambassador for 'Bharat Ki Laxmi' initiative

Noted actress Deepika Padukone (age 33 years) and Indian badminton player P. V. Sindhu (age 24 years) were elected as the Ambassadors for Shri Narendra Modi's (14th Prime Minister of India) new initiative 'Bharat Ki Laxmi'.
It aims to awarded Indian women who have made a mark with their achievements in various fields for the public good.
