China will host the inaugural edition of expanded 24-team Club World Cup in 2021

In an announcement, Gianni Infantino (President of FIFA) said that China will host the inaugural edition of the expanded 24-team Club World Cup in 2021.
He said the FIFA Council has decided, unanimously, to appoint China as the host of the new FIFA World Cup for Clubs.
The Club World Cup features 7-teams including the holders of the UEFA Champions League.
Qatar will host the competition in 2019 and 2020.
