ITBP celebrates its 58th Raising Day on 24th October


  • The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) celebrated its 58th Raising Day today.
  • On the occassion, Gangapuram Kishan Reddy (Minister of State for Home Affairs) attended the function and paid tributes to the martyrs at ITBP's Headquarter in Greater Noida.
  • ITBP is one of the 7th Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) of India, raised on 24th October 1962, under the CRPF Act in the wake of the Sino-Indian War of 1962.
  • Director-General of ITBP is S. S. Deswal.
