- Ethiopian sprinter Andamlak Belihu (age 20 years) won the 15th Airtel Delhi Half Marathon Men's race, which was held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi.
- In the same event, Tsehay Gemechu from Ethiopia won the Women's race.
- Ethiopian Belihu clocked a timing of 59:10 to win the title. While Gemechu broke her event record by producing a personal best of 66:00.
- Airtel Delhi Half Marathon (ADHM) is a yearly half marathon foot-race held in New Delhi, India, which was established in 2005. It includes
i) The half marathon,
ii) The 7 km Great Delhi Run,
iii) The 4.3 km run for Senior Citizens, and
iv) The 3.5 km wheelchair race.
