India-Oman joint Air Force exercise begins


  • The joint Air Force exercise between India and Oman 'Ex-Eastern Bridge-V' begins from 26th October at Air Force Base Masirah in Oman.
  • This exercise will enhance interoperability during mutual operations between the two Air Forces and will provide an opportunity to learn from each other’s best practices.
  • In this exercise, MiG-29 and C-17 aircraft of the Indian Air Force (IAF) will be participating with Oman Royal Air Force Eurofighter Typhoon, F-16 and Hawk.
  • The last exercise, Ex-Eastern Bridge-IV was held in 2017 at Jamnagar, Gujarat.
