- Kais Saied (age 61 years) elected as the 6th President of Tunisia after winning the 2019 presidential election. Prior to this, he had served as a Professor of constitutional law.
- He replaced Mohamed Ennaceur (age 85 years) who is currently the interim President of Tunisia since July 2019 following the death of President Beji Caid Essebsi.
