World Space Week observed on 4th to 10th October

World Space Week (WSW) is observed from 4th to 10th October every year around the world.
The theme for this year is "The Moon: Gateway to the Stars".
It is an international celebration of science and technology and their contribution to the betterment of the human condition.
The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) declared in 1999 that World Space Week (WSW) will be held each year from 4th to 10th October.
