IAF received first Rafale fighter jet out of 36 from France

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh (age 68 years) received the first Rafale fighter jet out of 36 from France on behalf of the Indian Air Force.
Speaking on the occasion, Defence Minister said the first batch of 4 Rafale fighter jet is expected to be reached to India by May 2020.
India had signed an agreement with France for the procurement of 36 Rafale jets at a cost of Rs 59,000 crore in September 2016.
