Indo-Mongolian 'Nomadic Elephant' Joint Military Exercise begins at Bakloh


  • The 14th Edition of Indo-Mongolian 'Nomadic Elephant' Joint Military Exercise started at Bakloh Cantt Chamba, Himachal Pradesh from 5th to 18th October 2019.
  • In this training, The Mongolian Army is being represented by officers and troops of the elite 084 Air Borne Special Task Battalion while the Indian Army is being represented by a battalion of the RAJPUTANA RIFLES Regiment.
  • The joint military exercise 'Nomadic Elephant - XIV' will increase defense co-operation and military relations between India and Mongolia.
  • It is an ideal platform for the defense forces of India and Mongolia to share their experiences & best practices and gain mutually during the joint training.
