- The Ministry of Tourism has launched the Audio Guide facility "Audio Odigos App" on the occasion of Paryatan Parv 2019 for 12 sites of India.
- The project aims to develop synergy amongst all stakeholders and involves the active participation of local communities/players to promote ‘responsible tourism’.
- If Offers:
i) It offers Government of India verified content, with visuals & voice over support.
ii) It offers an inbuilt map of the site for smooth navigation during the tour.
iii) It offers a more enriching experience and takes back historical insights into the Indian culture and heritage to the tourists.
iv) It offers various versions of history like Synopsis, Detailed History and Podcasts, etc.
- Audio Odigos App is now available for download on all Android and iOS supported mobile phones.
