UP Chief Minister flagged off India's first Private Train Tejas Express


  • The 22nd Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath flagged off India's first Private Train Tejas Express on the Delhi-Lucknow route.
  • Speaking on the occasion, UP CM Yogi Adityanath said that- It is the first corporate train of the nation. CM congratulates the first batch of passengers traveling on the train and hopes such initiatives are taken to connect other cities as well.
  • The Tejas Express will complete the journey from Lucknow-Delhi in 6 hours 10 minutes. The train will have only 2 halts Kanpur & Ghaziabad. It will run on all days of the week except Tuesday.
  • The train will leave Lucknow Railway station at 6:10 am and reach New Delhi Railway station at 12:25 pm. On its return journey, the train will leave Delhi at 3:35 pm and reach Lucknow at 10:05 pm.
