- Today, Union Home Minister Amit Shah flagged off the New Delhi-Katra Vande Bharat Express from the New Delhi Railway Station to Katra, Jammu.
- This is the Navratri gift for devotees of Maa Vaishno Devi, and it is a milestone in the development of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K).
- Train (No.- 22439) will depart from the New Delhi Railway Station at 6 am to reach Katra at 2 pm. In return, Train (No.- 22440) will leave from the Katra Railway Station at 3 pm and reach New Delhi station at 11 pm.
- This is the second Vande Bharat Express (Delhi-Katra), and the first Vande Bharat Express runs between Delhi-Varanasi.
