8th National Tribal Craft Mela began in Bhubaneswar


  • The 14th Chief Minister of Odisha Shri. Naveen Patnaik inaugurated the 8th National Tribal Craft Mela. The festival is being held at State Tribal Museum Complex in Bhubaneswar.
  • Around 240 Tribal Artisans from 18 states including Sikkim, Manipur, Nagaland, Assam, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, AP, Telangana, Gujarat, UP and WB are participating.
  • The main objective of the festival is to preserve, promote and popularize traditional tribal Art and Crafts.
