International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women observed today

The International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women is celebrated every year on 25th November around the globe.
The main objective of this day is to raise awareness of the fact that women around the world are subject to rape, domestic violence and other forms of violence.
The theme for this year is "Orange the World: Generation Equality Stands Against Rape".
