- Dr. Ravi Ranjan (age 58 years) has been appointed as the 13th Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court. The 8th Governor of Jharkhand Draupadi Murmu administered him the oath of office and Secrecy at Rajbhavan, Ranchi.
- Prior to taking up this assignment, Dr. Ravi Ranjan had also served as the Chief Judge of Punjab and Haryana High Court (2018-19) and Patna High Court (2008-18).
