The 8-day Kolkata International Film Festival began

The 25th edition of the Kolkata International Film Festival begins at the Netaji Indoor Stadium in Kolkata, West Bengal.
Eminent actor Shahrukh Khan (age 54 years) has unveiled the 8-day festival in presence of film personalities and dignitaries of the cultural and sports field.
The Kolkata Film Festival begins with the screening of Satyajit Ray-directed movie- Gupi Gayen, Bagha Bayen.
Focus Country for 2019 is Germany.
