Nepal celebrated the Festival of Chhath

The Festival of Chhath observed in Nepal with gaiety and religious fervor today.
Lakhs of devotees offered prayers to setting Sun on the banks of rivers, ponds and water reservoirs in various parts of the country.
The Chhath festival is dedicated to Sun God. It is a way to pay tribute to Lord Surya and seek his blessings for a long, healthy and prosperous life.
