Bhawana Kanth become country's first woman pilot to qualify for Combat Missions


  • Flight Lieutenant Bhawana Kanth (age 26 years) has become the country's first woman pilot to qualify to undertake to missions by day on a fighter aircraft.
  • She is one of the first female pilots of Indian Air Force (IAF) and joined the fighter squadron in Nov 2017.
  • Bhawana was declared as the first combat pilot along with - Mohana Singh, and Avani Chaturvedi.
