The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has launched a 'Golden Card' permanent residency visa scheme for expatriates.
The announcement was made by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.
The golden card visa scheme is open to investors and exceptional talents such as doctors, engineers, scientists, students, and artists, etc.
The Golden Card permanent residency visa scheme includes 5-categories 1. General investors can get a visa for 10-year 2. Investors Of Real Estate can get a visa for 5-year. 3. Entrepreneurs and Talented Professionals like doctors, researchers and innovators can get a visa for 10-years. 4. The 5th category is 'Outstanding Students'. These will also be permitted a visa for 5-years. 5. All the Visa Categories can be renewed upon expiry.
